Leisel's Story

I started riding with North Shore Riding for the Disabled when I was five years old. I first came with Red Beach School and then I also came with Orewa College when I was older.

I have benefitted from RDA as I have learned to balance when trotting, this has also helped with my posture.

The biggest challenge I have faced was getting back on the horse when I fell off, but it's ok - my favourite thing to do at RDA is trotting.

Missie is my favourite horse, she is amazing and has beautiful eyes.
