NSRDA's Inaugural Bake Sale
At the end of June, we held our very first fund raising Bake Sale at Bunnings in Silverdale.
There has always been some yummy plates of morning tea provided by various volunteers during the working week, so it just took someone to harness the idea of the bake sale and make it happen.
A big thank you to everyone who helped make this day such a success by contributing baking, helping on the day or just popping in to support us by buying something.
We are especially grateful to Sapphire from Kami Bakehouse who donated many beautiful cupcakes, and Ringawera Bakery of Matakana for donating the slices.
Finally, an enormous thank you to Chloe, one of our Volunteers extraordinaire, for all the work she put into organising donations for our raffle. The event raised over $2000 which will go towards new winter covers for the horses.
A big thank you also to Bunnings, Silverdale for giving us this opportunity and we look forward to this being an annual event.
