Rotary remove Pest Plants
We would like to thank the wonderful volunteers from Rotary North Shore, Michelle Morrison, her husband Dave Morrison and Heather Townend. They have visited us quite a few times now, removing and disposing of pest plants and educating us along the way.
They really get stuck in and have also brought us some native plants to put in the gaps and transplanted a few of our existing natives into better locations.
The plants we are trying to get on top of include Wild Ginger, Privet, Arum lilies, Blue Corn lilies, Pampas grass and Agapanthus.
It is a big job, but one bite of the elephant at a time will eventually get the job done. Thank you so much Rotary North Shore! - We look forward to your help again in 2026.
