North Shore RDA Wins Community Impact Award!
We are thrilled and more than a little proud to share that we won the ‘Community Impact Award’ at the Harcourts Ltd Harbour Sport Community Awards recently.
Christine Fallas, President of North Shore RDA said “We are thrilled to be recognised through these Awards. It’s a very public acknowledgement of the amazing work put in over each of the last 50 years that has resulted in the outstanding programmes we run today. This award is for all our wonderful volunteers, staff and, especially, our riders, who each give so much to ensure our therapeutic riding programmes really do change lives. We’re hugely grateful.”
Note on the Award: The purpose of the Community Impact Award is to celebrate and promote collaborative projects which have a meaningful and positive impact on tamariki and/or rangatahi and their communities through the provision of play, active recreation and sport, with a particular focus on those who face more barriers to participation.
