Horse News!
Our recent herd addition is Hick. He is around 18yrs young and most of his life he spent at the beach being a lead trekking horse. In the last 18 months he was owned by a lady who did lots with him from cowboy challenge to running around barrels and chasing cows and giving her lots of confidence as a rider.
Once he was ready to retire, I knew he would be perfect for the North Shore RDA and we could give him the best retirement. He has truly settled into the herd and his new job and loves his best mate Eddie.
We still need at least two more horses to help lighten the load for our current six amazing horses and ask that you please keep on the look out for a wonderful horse that would like to join us and be loved and looked after.
The perfect horse we would love to have would be 13.2hh to 14.2hh and a more finer build, honest quiet nature that is ready to slow down but still enjoys a job to do.
