School Holiday Programmes

Ever wanted to “own your own pony” for a day?

 

North Shore RDA runs one-day mini-workshops over selected school holidays. 

Our programme gives children a taste of what it is like to own their own pony. We cover the fundamentals of horse riding, horsemanship and safety with an emphasis on building confidence and having fun while we learn.

Both beginner and more advanced riders are welcome. The programme is designed to support independent riders wanting to learn more about horses and improve their riding. Riders must be able to follow instructions and participate in general group activities.

 

Weather and demand permitting, the school holiday programme runs from 9.30 am – 3.00 pm.
