Facility Hire

North Shore RDA has an outdoor arena and covered indoor facility for hire by individuals or groups for equine and non-equine activities. Some examples of how our weatherproof venue has been used:

 

Equine (Dressage, Jumping, Training) 

  • Workshops

  • Clinics 

  • Competitions

  • Tack sale

 

Non-Equine

  • Dog training

  • Classroom field studies

  • Filming

  • Outdoor sports

 

Be aware our facilities are only available to hire when our therapeutic riding sessions are not taking place. Please get in touch to discuss your event and check availability.

Indoor Facility – ‘The Barn’

 

The Barn has a viewing area with seating, a kitchen, bathrooms and include stalls and trotting poles. There is lighting and easy access to additional covered pens and yard.

  • 30x10m (usable open area)

  • Cushion floor

  • Covered weather use

  • Lighting

  • Use of Kitchen (fridge and limited cooking equipment available. Hirers to supply own food and drinks)

  • Use of undercover stalls and yard

  • Use of bathroom facilities

Outdoor Arena

 

The Arena is big enough to facilitate a full show jump or dressage course, and is ideal for lessons, clinics, competitions, small groups and more. There is some parking available.

 

  • 60x40m

  • Sand arena

  • All weather outdoor use

  • Variety of jumps

  • Use of undercover pens and yards

  • Use of washbay

Exclusive Use Rates (GST inclusive)

 

The Barn only - Full Day - $200 or Half Day - $120

Outdoor arena only - Full Day - $180 or Half Day - $100

All facilities (The Barn + Outdoor arena) - Full Day - $350 or Half Day - $250

 

A security bond of $250 is required at the time of payment.

 

Casual User Rates (GST inclusive)

 

For exercise/schooling horses - 1 hour - $20 per horse (up to two horses)

 

Your own protective equipment, water and feed buckets are to be used.  All facilities and yards are to be cleaned out and left in the same condition they were in upon arrival.
