Our big news is the completion of our Arena Cover during the recent holidays.

It’s been a mammoth effort, both in fundraising and preparation – to say nothing of the great work put into the project by Smart Shelters who have managed the build.

Along with the new roof, we have installed a further 4 water tanks, these will manage the storm water from the new roof and also enable us to have a sprinkler system under the cover to ensure we can damp down the arena surface and prevent it getting dusty which will be much appreciated by our riders and volunteers. As it is such a huge investment for us, we will be having a formal Grand Opening, but we have some smartening-up to do prior to that, so please check our Facebook Page for the date when it is finalised.

We have achieved a great deal in the past 5 years. However, time doesn’t stand still, so we will be having a Strategy Planning Day later this month to establish our next 5-Year Plan. The session will include our Committee and Staff, our Trustees, and some volunteers, to ensure we have a fully-rounded set of views of where we need to be in another 5 years time.
